Funny how technology seems to NOT have truly helped. Despite all of the advice to never write this kind of stuff down on paper and keep it near your computer (passwords mostly) you still have people saying "don't store it on (insert particular cloud formation here) in case you get jacked."

Yes I'll get an Android smartphone**

I have seen, installed, and ran Launchy. I don't get it. I thought I would believe the chatter when I finally got it running, but I find it confusing. I don't have the work style that makes Launchy valuable to me, but it's good that others get so much value from it.

Meetings that suck = PowerPointers that read all of their fracking slides — and they have crammed every pixel of space with bullet points. Just email the damn things to me and I can read them myself at my desk!

I'm a googler for most things but I cannot stand Google's desktop search tool. Every once in a while when I see a new version I will install it but in less than a week I get rid of it. I think it takes far too many system resources.

@squishyalt: Why put out videos like this? To get people talking. To get people thinking and debating. To get people inspired. To get programmers and designers and engineers thinking "I can do that and better" and then they go out and do better.

@ICEBreaker: "Men landed on the moon 70 years ago."

@tomvw: "It just seems like a lot of work for a simple task. What she actually does is just send him a link with weather-data. That's as easy as copy-pasting from your browser to your IM-app."

Some of the comments I've read make me think that some people should review the video and LISTEN.

@greenbot: "More Lifehacker posts, less iphone posts please. :-) "

We can't use IM in our office due to policy, so things like this do help.

I see no pr0n here, kiwinerdgrrl, just a discussion on how to manage the files.
