I have no doubt he’s at fault. Just trying to think of why he wouldn’t have a manual in the car.
Two reasons I can think of off-hand:
What’s the correct term, then? I grew up in SoCal and always called it that, never got shit for it before a few years ago, when I had moved far away from there.
Please ignore me, just replying to the wrong comment.
I mean, they wouldn’t be the first to sacrifice good design in pursuit of good ROI.
I’m saying that MBZ chose to work within the constraints of an ICE chassis, right or wrong, and that limits their battery placement options. It’s decidedly not optimal for an EV, but given that, their options for battery location are dictated by those constraints (and as you point out, by battery cooling requirements,…
Well, exactly. Which is why I don’t understand everyone fretting over the lack of a frunk when there’s likely just as much stuff crammed under the EV’s hood as there is under the ICE’s hood.
It’s not a “proper” EV, in that they’re leveraging an ICE platform. They aren’t producing a skateboard chassis to hold the batteries, so presumably they need to put the batteries somewhere. Why not use the engine bay that would otherwise be empty (in a “proper” EV, i mean)?
The drive components are smaller, but the batteries take up more space than the gas tank.
Camaro MAXX.
Eww.
Or an alternative name for Jason Lee’s kid.
One way or the other, yes.
HA! Looks like a Juke.
What would be the motivation to run this as 2nd-degree assualt and not attempted murder?
I’ve taken to scrambling eggs, plating them, putting the cheese on top, then inverting the pan over the plate... the latent heat of the pan ensures that the cheese melts before the eggs lose their heat. It only take a minute or two.
Agreed entirely. Sorry for misrepresenting your original point.
Yeah, but he’s not arguing that they are evil, either (I made that same mistake).
