I started a company in 2011 and everyone was making fun of me. Now in 2015 the product is being sold on Amazon, just got my patent and now no one is laughing. It did feel very lonely but I really believed that my product was completely unique.

you need to quit if the passion for the project / product is gone. I always say, quit if you cannot remember why you started in the first place.

here were are jerking around and playing with russians while ISIS is a destroying everything they can get their hands on. we feel very strong? lets show that to china or isis.

I hear you. Just always remember what is important. I lost a lot of people and it all happened in one second. But I hear you. Small things are also important. Not everything is doom and gloom. I think I am just exhausted :)

Yes, of course, nothing is written in stone and needs to be adjusted to an individual. If using word "problem" brings the sense of urgency to the situations then why not.
Also I think as we accumulate different life experiences different words start triggering different emotional responses.

I think it is better to say "situation" instead of "problem"
