I think Threedom is the best spin-off podcast this year. Three improv comics just shooting the breeze and then playing improv games works amazingly well.

The fact that The Runaways don’t actually run away until Season 2 is the physical manifestation of the joke I’ve been making for years that if Knight Rider were made today, the car wouldn’t show up until the 15th episode.

Exactly and the Kent’s in Snyders movie are not those good Kansas farmers.  Pa Kent is bad but I think the speech Ma Kent says where she goes “You don’t owe these people anything” is just so fucking against the core of Superman and especially what the Kent’s are suppose to be.   

There’s a case to be made that the character arc from Man of Steel to Justice League is supposed to be Superman finding out what he stands for, but it just never plays out that well in the films. We’re supposed to care about his noble sacrifice at the end of BvS, but it just rings hollow.

The fact that Snyder doesn’t “get” Captain America is why he will never do Superman justice.

It really is amazing the they made an excellent Captain America movie by leaning into what makes the character distinctive, instead of avoiding it. And that seems to be the theme for all of the MCU, which is even more remarkable.

Disney likely doesn’t want it, because the shows as a whole are mediocre as hell. I like some of the casting, but overall, these are not good TV. I’d say 1st season Daredevil, 1st Season Jessica Jones, and maybe half a season of Luke Cage were any good. The rest...yeah, it’s not a huge loss for Disney to wait it out…

They don’t want them. That is the problem.

Ya obviously they don’t really fit with their brand and quite frankly the series were under performing. They’re not worth the cost of production for Netflix or Disney.  It sucks for the fans because the three series are ending on high notes but the business side of things is clear.

I love LoT, but the Arrowverse crossovers have always gone for bigger and more entertaining, and more meta, since before LoT came along.

I’m surprised there’s nothing from “Sorry to Bother You”. Be it the way that Cassius is just nonchalantly dropped into peoples lives mid call, or the twist. That Twist!

Thank you for including that incredible Blindspotting scene. I feel like this movie has been unjustly overlooked this year, and I want Daveed Diggs to win alllll the awards for it.

Babies and children going starving because their single mum died. People dying on operating tables, cheerleaders dropped from the top of human pyramids - chaos!

No kidding!  I can’t for life of me think of anything remotely spoilery about that title that they couldn’t have announced it last year.  The entire existence of a 4th movie is VASTLY more spoilery to Avengers Nerd Fantasy than “Endgame”.

Good thing they kept that title secret.  That spoils everything.
