Guess what? You just described a luxury brand dealership. And Guess what?  Many people are ok with that. I am not against dealerships. I am for giving people a choice where to buy a car from, a dealer or direct from the manufacturer.  How does that sound for a proposition? 

Nowadays I always skip that kind of a joint and would buy online. I just bought at an appliance over the phone from a local store. If they’d played games, I would have ordered elsewhere online. I have zero tolerance to not giving me the final otd price right away on anything.

Which is why I always get the final otd price of a car entirely online or via text before I set foot at a dealer. No quote - no visit.
