What are other new options in this price range that are safer choices? Cayman maybe, that it. The rest are automatics. You can go used, of course, and buy a decent 911. But really, nothing much to choose over this at 100K budget. Possibly GT350/350R, but that one is different. You can get a used exotic, but you will

What Fiestas and Focuses?

yeah, garage space is a problem. Will probably end up buying a new house to solve it. The better half may have other reasons. North Dakota checking here. You can laugh and all, but as soon as temps hit mid 60s, everyone gets out in some kind of a “fun” vehicle. A motorcycle, an MG roadster, an old Porsche. Plenty of

People rent cars and probably have spouse’s vehicle or vehicles that are automatic. Plenty of experience with automatics. Just sayin’. The 2020 Camaro SS that i rented for a week is a great driver. The 10-speed automatic does its job and is faster, but the car needs a manual to be fun.

Wow - you are really going for it. I had an 08 Mazda3, then traded it in for a 17 GTI S and then bought a 19 Bullitt for summer weekends. I do not know what to replace the GTI with, really, in a couple of years. Mk8 GTI or R? A 2-series BMW? For some reason I do not want a BMW. A 2-Door Wrangler. A Miata. The last two

I bought 3 new manual vehicles in the last 12 years for the grand total of 89K actual money paid. I am doing my part.

You are a

like nobody buys manual Miatas or manual GTIs.

No, the disclaimer should be small print, not large print.

no, silly. The best way is for Nancy Pelosi to start talking about it.

you forgot covfefe.

lemme guess? North Carolina and Arizona?

I have to wing it with my 19 Bullitt. No way i am putting the front plate on my car. I am willing to pay the front plate tax if i am pulled over. So far cops have not cared about it. I guess they have better (or worse) things to do.

Lol. A hell of a stretch it is, true. Not nearly as much as recent news. Ask somebody from a year ago to imagine what’s going on today, they won’t be able to.

The CX-5 were legitimately better than the Honda and Toyota competitors. Not sure about 2020 versions as i have not looked at Toyota lately and their new RAV4 looks legit. Still, two of my co-workers recently bought two CR-Vs. Neither cares about cars. They just needed 'a car' .

I only meant current models. No such thing as Mazdaspeed3, unfortunately. I like the interior of my base 17 GTI. Somebody clearly thought the design and ergonomics through.

Why not? If you justify taking vehicles off market because of low percentage of overall brand’s sales, then why not get rid of smaller manufacturers in the same segment? The board can just call it quits. It is a stretch, but the logic is not THAT different.

i traded Mazda3 for a GTI a couple years ago as well. The GTI is a better car than  Mazda3

AWD auto only Miata? You are onto something here...

People want Toyotas. By your logic, Mazda should not be selling vehicles at all.
