That is such a weird but spiritually satisfying stat I had to go look it up.

First decade they haven’t been in the World Series since the 1910s.....since WWI era baseball. Remarkable.
We made it through a decade without a Yankee championship! Rejoice!
Poor dude's only seen 27 championships.
Its weird to see fans not cause interference on that play tbh
As a Astros fan that likes the Yankees over the Red Sox any day, this Yanks team is similiar to the late 90s Yanks, very likeable crew, I hope they don’t show the bucks like their Evil Empire days but very good chance they can lure Gerrit Cole. I think they just need to have Aaron Boone to not read any Craig Counsell…
The first gif is another idea, but your "Springier" pun reminded me of the 2nd.
In case you’re wondering, we hit .180 in the ALCS and .103 with RISP. We haven’t been lighting it up since mid-September. Just weird.
Let’s remember some guys
Altuve is the one that makes the Astros special. He’s the driving force. Not Springer. Not Bergman. Not Correa. Jose is. Houston was destroyed last year when he wasn’t healthy. He’s healthy now and changes everything for them.
This could have worked if Wadman had actually made an effort to, you know, pick up the yardage. Things go wrong here, just before he crosses the left hash:
I’ve seen the Butt Fumble at least 250 times and I STILL laugh out loud every time I see it.
And the Pats scored a TD on an 80+ yard pass play after a Jets fumble just before the buttfumble. So 3 TD’s in less than a minute for New England.
the illegal formation penalty is the comedy cherry on top that we don’t frequently discuss, much like how we don’t discuss that the Jets fumbled the ensuing kickoff following the Butt Fumble, which was returned for a TD.

“Okay, hear me out. You know how the punter is usually the best athlete on the field?”

Goddamn you, Andy Reid.
Honestly, I feel like the utter lack of budget really helped the film. The monster effects were great, but the movie lives because you couldn’t have too many of them, you had to rely on the character-focused paranoia. Now, when you find the time, I’d rather not spend the rest of this winter TIED TO THIS FUCKING…
Along with everyone here, in my opinion, this is THE best horror movie of all time. It truly captures horror to it’s tee and the realistic reactions from the cast sold me on it. What truly stood out to me was that, the alien, by the end of the film, was still..an alien...literally. It never had a true form, it motives…
