Why wouldn’t you recast Hunnam if you had such a great idea for the character? It’s not like you would have people saying Hunnam defined the role, and it would be fairly easy to find a lookalike actor. I don’t share the hate for the actor... More of a shrug.

Fascinating commentary both ways that made me question how to express what I enjoyed about the trilogy. I would summarize it for me as the slowly unfolding mystery, the response and erosion of long term plans in the face of that mystery, and the survival of characters in circumstances much larger than them.

Or describe it as Roadside Picnic with the aliens still here?
