I am toying with the idea of selling my 2008 M3 (E90 - 4 door version) with manual 6 speed. I love love love my M3. But, I have also lusted after a Tesla for a while. I think the S is a beautiful car, but was reluctant to pull the trigger on that because I thought it compared in weight and handling more with a

Bet you like the new Honda Civic right?

I got to drive one of these a few months ago. I initially had mixed feelings about the fact that there’s hardly ANYTHING in the interior other than the big screen. And everything else has been hidden: The AC vents are hidden for example. But at the end of the day I think the statement it makes is that with this car,

If I like a video, and I think Jalopnik readers will enjoy it, then I’m going to share it. It’s that simple.

The Russian guy who does crazy experiments with his VAZ 2100s? I mean, why the heck would I not share that? It’s brilliant!

Also, we do plenty of our own reviews (and yeah, we reviewed the Model 3 a while back),

This is the story Jalopnik should have focused on instead of targeting Musk’s odd reply. It’s a better story and has a lot more depth.

I’m not a big Tesla fan, especially of Elon if you see my post comments, but having someone who works for the “enemy” writing op pieces for an Investor site who has a vested interested in Tesla losing market valuation is a little shady.

CARB was created to regulate CA’s emissions. Other states signed on because they wanted to follow the same standards. Has nothing to do with CA wanting to control the country.

Considering TSLA is the most shorted stock on wall street and considering the recent coordinated hits on Musk/Tesla. I can see this making the shorts panic, even more so since WSJ has historically been negative on Tesla.

Hmm, something positive about Musk on Jalopnik? Did you guys drink some of that Flint water?

Nothing absurdly horrific about this forklift ‘accident’. People do stupid things everywhere, so its not unique to Tesla.

That’s the thing for me with Tesla. The major car companies are putting the most boring stuff into their electric/hybrid etc vehicles, save for the super/hypercar ones I’ll never see except for in a Fancy Kristen article. Tesla though is making them with an eye for having fun, too. Sure, I’d miss rowing my own gears

Although I’m not the biggest fan of Tesla (yes I decry their build quality, low-rent interiors, and insufferable fanboys), you have to admit this is kinda cool. Tesla is getting dangerously close to being able to build a fun car. Yeah, I’ll buy gasoline engine cars until I can’t, but I don’t dread the day my wife buys

The fact some of you clowns in the comments would side with a thief because of your hate for tesla is disgusting.

Right... because driving and then stopping has 2 very distinct scenarios where the system can tell if you’re testing?

Other are just calling it “recalls”. I like my recalls to be done over the air, honestly, so I’m not wasting a day going to the garage so they can perform a “software update” with a laptop.

Seriously, I know Elon Musk is a fucking asshole nutcase, but he was clearly referring to the “powerful people” in the tweet to which he was replying. There’s so much else one can readily critique about his stupid position on creating what would effectively be Verrit 2.0 (but with actual investment behind it,

“Kind of a Bullshit test on the part of Elon & Company.”

The factory will be located in Shanghai, China. Construction is expected to begin in October this year. The main buildings are expected to finish by April 2019. It’ll take another 6 months to install the first two production lines, to hire and train staffs, and to make any last minute adjustments to the production

Panel gaps is not the same as engine problems.
