I am totally with you on this — I have somewhat Dan-like tendencies myself, and so when I hear his frustration at being constantly interrupted, ridiculed and talked over, I feel his pain pretty hard.

I have been a huge fan of this band since I discovered them about 10 yrs ago — I've had issues with the noodly jazz direction things have gone recently, but still find loads to enjoy in even those songs.

Totally agree — I am loving this podcast. I love how it is really quite heavily and seriously about U2, but also they are willing to drop that shit in an instant if an insane tangent presents itself. I'm especially looking forward to later episodes when they talk about albums I haven't really bothered keeping up with.

Did you catch the Ben Schwartz episode that just dropped? SO good. Much less funny, but so interesting and sort of inspiring. I love that guy.
