Always fun to look at growth in the very early stage of a new ‘thing’ and try to extrapolate to what the overall shape of that growth curve will look like. Nobody ever gets those wrong just from looking at data and divining a ‘trend’.

The difference is the money comes from the cop budget and equals about one officer for a year, and the civil liability comes from the city (taxpayers) and costs way fucking more than that.

Sometimes there are two sides to a story and it should be reported as such. Sometimes there really aren’t two sides. The ‘other side’ should just be noted as a bunch of cranks with no legs to stand on. It’s a mistake for journalists to think that there must be two sides to every story and they must be given equal time.

I find economies like the one we are in today does a fairly good job of weeding people out with bad financial skills/habits. For the short term it sucks for us with good financial skills/habits because we have to wait to do some of the the things we want like buy a new car, buy a new house, etc. In the long run…

What if I email over pictures of my house, current car, how I dress normally, etc. so you can decide just how much you can rip me off for.
