I didn’t partake (motorcycle), but I believe it was a $3 service charge.

My office of 1000 people had one of these. People loved it and it made sense to me to have one truck run gas to the office instead of 200 cars make a trip to the gas station.

Jesus, that is depressing. Those slow boiling frogs are going to die thanking the chef for the Jacuzzi.

I’m stunned by the honesty. I guess at the very least you didn’t have to waste much time before figuring out that’s what he wanted.

Yeah, that’s the other side of the equation. Two bad habits (SUVs and distracted walking) making an even worse result.

Raise the gas tax, but it wont help with crossovers, the mileage difference is negligible on new ones.

Yup. I’ve had family claim ‘they’ have fixed that since the explorers of the 90's. I then try to explain that ESC only saves you from yourself on a flat road, not from another car sending you sideways.

The full article references 12 independent studies that states that a person hit by an SUV is 2-3 times more likely to die than if hit by a car. The primary reason is the impact at your torso rather than your legs flipping you onto the hood.

eh. not really. just irrigation doesn’t get things into dew points of 50. Its the monsoon season that brings humidity.

In one instance I had a client who wanted to order a TourX, when they sat down with the dealer to do the paperwork, he said to them “I don’t know why you want to order this. No one is buying these cars.”

The article had the phrase about not calling for help because she didn’t want her grandchild to see. So, it’s relevant to that part of the story.

I guess it depends on the adult, but I’ve always been skeptical of how deadly a bobcat or a coyote is 1vs1.

Yup! This is also why you’ll never see an experienced motorcyclist riding in the center of the lane. The edge of the lane is where you can see past the next 5 too-high crossovers. In Phoenix, every car has dark tint windows (with good reason).

I agree with that one.

Sometimes I forget how terrible people are.

So, the worst case scenario is the same as what happened when she didn’t give the keys? Not really a reason to keep the keys.

In AZ I’ve seen a huge increase of Bolts on the road. I test drove one of 6 on a lot 2 weeks ago, this week only one is left. Those things are selling really well.

Yeah, because its not like Home Depot doesn’t rent trucks for $20 an hour both times you need it this year.

Depending on the sports car there might be the inefficiency or pollution angle that hurts others. But the mere size of pickups creates plenty of more problems than a sports car. You cant see children behind them, or adults walking behind the cab as they cross your path. Drivers have a harder time with lane and parking

I’m just postulating, but with Brexit that border might not be so free-flowing soon.
