What you fail to mention is that companies like BMW do it bes allowing multiple ways of data entry, so instead of just the iDrive knob, you can use the touchscreen, voice, gesture (even though its partly a gimmick, still works)

Does this account for the free maintenance programs that companys like BMW provide with the purchase/lease of a new or even certified car? I feel like the rankings would be different if it was the price the consumer pays not just the overall cost that may be covered by the company.
