Neither is the DB11.....
Neither is the DB11.....
Am I the only one wondering why/how they are focusing on this while on the verge of bankruptcy?
Not everyone wants to be bored to death driving.
Fixing the cabinet door is likely to injure more people than practicing braking on an empty, straight road. That said, yes, now is not the time to do anything stupid. I beddie-bye timed my motorcycles for now and it makes Jack a sad boy :(
Jason’s crazy, but he ain’t W12 crazy.
After a lifetime of Japanese cars I waded into the VW world very carefully. In four years my GTI has been perfectly wonderful, but I remain anxious. I’ve decided the car is so delightful I’m willing to put up with some nonsense. The open question is how much nonsense I’ll be subjected to.
When I saw the header photo I thought this was going to be a W12 Touareg
Did you miss the part where they already bought the thing?
My Miata and I say “speak for yourself”
This is WAAAYYYY easier to learn on a carburetor equipped vehicle. Step one is to remove the idle mixture screw and stow it some place safe. Step two is to then attempt to drive said vehicle anywhere.
I’m not great at it, but nailing the perfect one just puts the biggest, dumbest grin on my face.
I can heel and toe fine, though at 10/10ths I’m far more clumsy at it then at 5/10ths. That said, I cannot for the life of me left foot brake. It would takes months or years to get my left foot to the same place as my right one in terms of sensitivity and dexterity. Maybe I should start practicing....
A perfectly-executed, rev-matching heel and toe downshift is a thing of joy.
In principle I agree (especially with stock buybacks) but here’s the question that must be asked: If the huge company that needs a bailout goes under instead, how many people will lose their jobs?
For companies that want bailouts, I think there should be a set of criteria to qualify.
1. If you spent your giant tax break money on stock buybacks - go fuck yourself.
2. If your CEO got a giant bonus from tax break money - go fuck yourself
3. If your employees are woefully underpaid, worked to death, and have no…
Dude, you are 100% wrong, just drop it.
The manual swap was a must for me. I basically just drive to meets and around town and to work, but I really enjoy the engagement of a manual. Luckily, it’s pretty well-covered ground; there’s a lot of swapped 3G Accords out there so finding info is really easy. Also yes, assuming the world someday returns to sanity,…
I love the low, lean look of 80s Japanese cars. Compared to the bloated stuff we have nowadays I look at the short height of the engine bay and go, “How’d they fit an engine in there?”
Glad to see you’re giving it a little more enjoyment with the manual swap.
Looks like it’d be a perfect fit at Radwood.
Just admit you’re wrong, it isn’t that hard.
