The answer is, as always, volvo! You need a volvo 240. It has great handling, no need for a roll bar, only weighs 2800 lbs and you can find a great example for under $3k! Then spend the rest of your buget dropping a chevy v8 in it and you will have a track day monster to play with!

They are keeping the 6 series as well, but this might as well be one.

This is dissapointing, they cut the 6 series coupe, gave it a facelift and rebadged it to sell more. This isnt inspiring and definitely not a worthy successor to the old 8 series. I was a huge fan of old bmw’s, but they have lost their step, and arnt producing something special that people will still want 25 years…

As said in other comments, unlike mercedes, nissan isnt trying to hide the fact here it will be just a trim level and not true performance upgrades (for the most part). And that says to me, lots of colored stitching and still mediocre not very fun cars.

Everyone hates that cars keep getting bigger and heavier every generation. Then STOP COMPLAINING YOU CANT FIT 3 OF YOUR 6'7 UNCLES IN THE BACK SEAT EVERY SINGLE REVIEW.

For an F1 engine this is extremely impressive as well. Not that long ago it was common for F1 engines to not even last an entire race.

i was actually surprised how light it is. only 3300 pounds with something like an Audi a4 weighing in at 3500 pounds. 3300 is considered “light” now a days
