If you split your bread and place it on both sides of your bowl, is your soup now a sandwich?
I’ll be gifting spaghetti dinners this year. Canned spaghetti sauce (should be shelf safe, but I’m keeping it refrigerated and suggesting the recipients do the same), noodles, a fresh baguette, and garlic butter. Everything but the noodles homemade.
I would propose that bread is the best wrapper for a “sandwich”. (insert image of homemade ham & cheese hot pocket work won’t let me upload.) Now I just need to start using bread flour or kneading more so that the sides stop splitting on me.
Love my Ambiano products, but for the life of me I can’t figure out what happened to the power cord for my deep fryer. Maybe it fell behind the freezer? I’m so tempted to pick this up, but I don’t think it would offer me any advantages over my hand mixer.

Platelets are once a week, up to 24 times in a year, and plasma is once every 28 days.
Last weekend’s experiment was ramen. Trotters and chicken bones boiled clean, then simmered for 12 hours along with garlic, ginger, and scallions. Pork belly braised in mirin, sake, soy sauce, and honey, then sliced and seared. Soft-boiled eggs marinated in that same mix. All that, along with some fresh noodles,…
You see, I saw the 90º weather and I went a different route. Red Lobster at home, with grilled tuna and corn on the cob, sweet & spicy korean fried shrimp, shrimp scampi linguine, and cheddar bay biscuits. So I had oven, grill, and all four burners on.
So many good ones. On the history side: “Sengoku Jidai”, “Punic Wars”, “Early Christian Schisms”, and “Hiawatha” are a few of my favorites.
I would also suggest the ‘Extra Credits’ channel. The primary focus of their contents is education in regards to video games, but they have an ‘Extra History’ series of videos that is really good as well.
The answer isn’t, “Eat an entire pizza.”?
I’d suggest keeping an eye on their website for their general merchandise. Each week they offer a multiple items centered around a seasonal theme.
“When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves.”
