Like I said, I really like everything that Carlos stands for, but we don't know all the facts here. Erasing the tape is inexcusable, but the arrest itself may have had more to it than what we saw.
I think the phrase "won over" is not being used in the idiomatic sense, but in the "he won, they lost sense." I love Photography is Not a Crime and Carlos Miller, and I've had multiple run-ins with the police over photography, but this post is overstating the case.

Not true for two reasons. Despite being hardened, a direct hit on any structure, be it a silo or Cheyenne Mountain, will destroy it. Secondly, a silo is almost certainly at the top of the targeting list, so you're really screwed in two ways.
