I actually work for one of the most progressive and wealthy companies on the planet. If you’re sexually harassed, HR can be the difference between a hostile work environment and a harmonious work environment. Of course, that trigger can be overzealous sometimes, but I digress.

I call bullshit on calling HR. Unless it’s sexual harassment, HR is borderline useless and will not keep anything confidential.

These kids would be safer walking. I would walk miles as early as 5 am and as late as 10 pm. My parents would give me bus fare for emergencies and I had a roll of quarters in case I needed to call them. And I graduated high school in 2004.
