We as nerds do...if you use Windows. But we’re nerds and tech is our thing. The average person probably doesn't even know what bloatware is.

Exactly! I would love to see the books of indie labels showing how much money it would potentially of cost them assuming people start listening and stop buying. Besides, I thought the money was in concerts and overpriced shirts, not track sales.
I was like you once. Then I drove a Prius. I was at a stop light and wanted to see how fast it could move. I flooded it and the car slowly crawled to life.
To wait until disaster is at your door to make changes is not only idiotic, but dangerous and ultimately costs more than it saves. If someone is robbing houses, you don’t wait until they are at your door to install a lock, but that’s exactly what so many Americans do and it’s stupid. Simply stated, long term interests…
you tighten fuel economy regulations because you want a bigger surplus. The bigger surplus means cheaper fuel. Cheaper fuel means lower cost for businesses and increases travel, which increases the likelihood someone will stay at a hotel, go out to eat and spend money on vacations, even if it’s for a day.
Get out of here with that bullshit. Apple markets to individuals based on an idealized life style. For photographers it’s about how you can take high quality photos, for families it’s about staying in touch, for individuals it’s about ease of use and at their keynotes they often talk about how certain aspects can make…
Wow really? That's kinda crazy. What was your research on?
That was implied lol
As a tech nerd, graduate student and Latino I want to go to Cuba and see how my tech skills could be used to help people there. I’m not Cuban, but I think it would be a blast to go there and help build a technological infrastructure.
Corporations aren’t better. Corporations and governments are both ran by people. Incompetence will destroy any good organization, whether it’s a corporation or government.
True. But I think it wouldn’t be impossible to do if Sony actually supported the process by giving specs. I mean, we’re talking 16 year old tech here. I’m sure given some minor support, a couple of us needs could band together to create new everything.
If they release specs and allow 3D printing, problem solved. If they don’t, patents should expire soon for the original so you could scan one and do it yourself without issue.
According to they presentation when it was announced its because they love their iPhones and wanted to build for that platform because that’s what they personally have.
I thought this was awesome, but was curious if volcanoes are currently more active or less active. I grew up in the 90s and seem to remember more volcano eruptions being covered in the news so I decided to pull some data...because I’m a nerd. And holy crap was I wrong.
Yeah but Star Trek has themes and messages. Star Trek had science and taught acceptance. Tons of scientists have been inspired by Star Trek.
No question the TV contract is huge, but the numbers break down to about 86 million per team per year for each year of the contract. That will effectively raise the salary cap and why every player currently has an opt out clause in 2016 so they can resign a monster contract.
LeBron and other players should care because less courtside seats means less money for players. Basically, you have to ask yourself do you want money or safety. Most players are under 30 and feel invulnerable and will select money over safety until they are injured and then they care.
As a phd student and sometimes undergraduate professor, I can say you’re wrong. We use journal articles all the time. Maybe at K-12 journal articles aren’t as popular, but at the university level they are essential.
I agree. My dad is Puerto Rican and medium skinned. He can pass for white. He hears all the racial stuff that white people say when they don’t think people are listening.
Hey, Bronlet Man is as good as I can do with the description. The guy walks around in black and has no apparent super powers. He pushed a couple of people and did a “ninja lock” whatever that is.
