We have always been murdering Eastasia.

The film took a mincing, candy-assed, morally questionable character and made him gay? I'm surprised they don't fully support Disney for reinforcing their idea of what gay people are like.

This is where the fish lives!

It can be two jokes.

It surprises me that a site that (rightfully) fawned over Neil Cicierega's "Mouth Sounds" has already forgotten about his "All Star/Take Me Out" mashup.

Which one is that? I'm not even sure anymore.

I used to give child actors a free pass on being terrible—I mean, they're kids! It's not like they've had time to take extensive acting classes or go to a conservatory or even just learn the ropes from experience.

To be fair, I got through about 3/4 of the book and gave up myself. It's not a novel; it's a very dull philosophical treatise with occasional battle suits.

I'm glad you said this, because I had literally no idea what they were talking about.

We're not a bank, cigarette.

TRUMP IS WHY A JOKE WON

Don't forget that NBC cut business ties with Donald Trump very publicly in June of 2015. He hosted the show in November.

I don't question Kate McKinnon's personal convictions, but does anybody else find it disingenuous for SNL to lament the rise of Trump when they LET HIM HOST THE SHOW DURING HIS CAMPAIGN

It could also be a joke about the opening theme just being a remix of "Psycho".

I thought the problem with Lovecraft's stuff was that he was incredibly racist.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Ken Bone is just the new Barb from "Stranger Things".

The problem with the "comedy=tragedy+time" formula is that while time may have passed in this particular case (I haven't listened to the story so I don't know how/if it ended), the situation is an ongoing problem that still exists today. So it's not really something we can look back on and use humor to cope, because

A hipster walks into a bar and says "This place sucks, it's full of hipsters."

I have a lot of sympathy for Corey Feldman as a human being. I have little sympathy for him as an artist. Very few of us are so lucky as to be invited to perform on the Today Show, particularly for something we haven't earned any sort of reputation for. Most musicians will never get that sort of opportunity, but

Joke's on you, my best Marge impersonation is TERRIBLE.
