I don't see how the lyrics to "7 Kettles" are cringe-inducing at all. "Porno" I can kinda see, but I still really like that song - much more than anything on Everything Now, that's for sure.

If I'm a baby, then you're an old fart!
How is nobody talking about that terrifying-as-fuck nightmare sequence? Jesus Christ, I don't feel like I can eat for a whole week after watching that. Was it really necessary to put it in?
I think you're onto something. In my mind, the whole relationship with Francesca makes a lot more sense if you imagine that Dev's just trying to make up for losing contact with Sara.
They forgot Sister Anne from "Future War"!
Anyone else get the feeling that Nabin's only standing up for this film because no one else will?
Even the guy who made the trailer for "Empires of the Deep" didn't know what he was doing. It looks like it's from 2002.
This isn't one of my favorite MWOF entries. I feel like it was written out of a personal dislike for Bill Murray, rather than any actual interest in the film itself (because it just doesn't sound very interesting). I'd rather Nabin picked the material first and then saw what relevant statement he could pull out from…
Jar-Jar is the key to all of this.
Then he's still a hypocrite, because episodes V and VI were directed by other people and he still went in and re-edited them.
I still can't believe that Aaron McGruder worked on the script for that movie. If the whole movie had been more like that flying scene in the Boondocks episode "Wingmen," it might have been good.
I couldn't disagree more about An Affair to Remember. I haven't seen Love Story, so this movie could very well be an improvement, but it's still one of the worst 50s movies I've ever seen. I see people complaining about the songs in Willy Wonka below, but you don't know what an unnecessary musical number looks like…
Actually, I wonder if Rabin will ever cover Kate Hudson's own sad decline. I'm thinking of that awful film she made called A Little Bit of Heaven.
THICK MCRUNFAST
I really don't think Unbreakable is better. It's way too slow-paced and the twist doesn't make everything before it better. It kind of makes it all worse, actually. I guess it asks a few interesting questions about the concept of superheroes, but it's hard to tell what Shyamalan's actual attitude about it is.
I don't think Rabin saw this movie, or at least he got a plot point wrong. Sue Storm doesn't go on the voyage to Planet Zero; she gets her powers later, for whatever reason.
I'm surprised Gus Fring and Hector Salamanca aren't on this list. How much more unexpected can you get? The guy was in a freakin' wheelchair.
Don't forget "Mosquito Song" from QOTSA's Songs for the Deaf. It might be my favorite song on the album, actually.
I'm surprised that they mentioned Sun Kil Moon but not Red House Painters, since the latter band's "Rollercoaster" album has a great example of this. "Mistress" and "Mistress (Piano Version)" are basically the same song, only the first one has a messy guitar-heavy sound and the second is a solo piano ballad (duh).…
