My first car was a ‘91 Legend, that thing was fantastic. 200hp and I feel like it was one of the earlier mass-produced cars to use the double wishbone up front, but I could be full of it.

My ‘13 500 Abarth had a hanging tag with a warning to depress the clutch for 3 seconds before shifting to reverse around the knob. Failing to do so will definitely result in a nasty grind and won’t engage. I always just go to reverse before starting my car when possible, though.
