Actually, it kind of was. It’s obviously dated now, but at the time, Shenmue had some of the best graphics on the market, and its attention to detail is still impressive compared to a lot of modern games. Compare the Dreamcast games to something like Deus Ex 1 or even some early PS2 titles and it’s like night and day.

I’m trying to find where the “ass” is in that trailer. This is what our expectations have become?

Why would you spoil this with an image, it just came yesterday!? Thank goodness I already played it because that was one of the most pleasant surprises. I know you guys need sensationalism but did you have to use that image?

Kotaku, and other sites, should make a simple article titled: “We’re so clever and first. Here’s all the spoilers and things we want to gush about: Sonic Mania Edition.”

This is some mis-information here. Mean Bean Machine is the ACTUAL boss, not a secret one.

I cannot believe that people are talking about the “Mean Bean Machine” reference...keep this shit a secret! I was on cloud 9 when I came across it as I had no knowledge of it and have purposefully not told others for fear I’d ruin it for them. Games with throwbacks like this do not happen often...especially with this…

I am so glad I played Sonic Mania before seeing this article. The Chemical Plant Zone boss reveal was brilliant. Bit of a shame that you’re spoiling it in the header image a whole 24 hours after its release. Maybe change it?
