For what it's worth... Which is almost nothing... My protest will be to cancel my existing subscription. This costs too much, for what it delivers to me. Hopefully enough people will feel the same way.

I mean... I was kinda hoping for things like a decent terrain editor, a way to clear away plants that's not painful, or a bunch of other things that would stop this game feel less like work and more like a game.

You could also be shocked at, "The Touryst, a complete game running at 8K, is smaller than a 4K trailer for the same game."

This seems incredibly relevant - I would think that their lack of analysis in these areas is more to do with rules and embargoes than it is journalistic thoroughness.

Looks nice and all, but hardly stealthy...

I played through this event a couple of times, the second of which was with my daughter. It gave her insight into a part of history that she'd never encountered before, and lead to some interesting conversations. I think it has some value as an educational tool.

Sounds like fortnite: people build a five story hotel with hot tub the second they hear a bullet whizz by and other people complain about building, some wanting a mode that doesn't have it.

Also... Never assume that you’ll have perpetual access to work email. When you’re a cog in a machine that’s the first thing they disable as you’re being replaced.

I thought the idiocy was in thinking that you could just link another switch and have full access to your library.

I think it’s unfortunate that it was taken out - I think it had value from a narrative and personal experience. But ultimately it’s their game. Besides, the way some people have acted over it, they may not have the emotional maturity for such an experience anyway.

Im really looking forward to picking one of these up next year for £5 plus slightly more for shipping.
