You may not know this, but rape is generally considered a high crime.

I believe I said that mother shouldn’t be allowed to have kids. She’s in jail for child abuse, but the kids go to a home with parents who care about them.

The fact that the constitution says they’re allowed to? I’m not even sure what the question is. The Senate could literally say ‘we don’t like you’ and that’s grounds for impeachment. You literally just need the votes, you don’t even need a reason.

Impeachment is not a court of law. You don’t have to prove anything. You just need the votes.

Essentially you can impeach someone for anything. You just need two thirds majority in the senate to agree with you.

I think that her truancy prosecutions are HUGELY problematic

Virginia’s impeachment is nearly identical to presidential impeachment

Of course he’s calling for investigation, short of video tape, no one’s going to be able to conclusively confirm what happened in either encounter. The FBI is going to come back moths from now and say ‘there’s not enough evidence for a prosecution’ and Fairfax is going to say ‘see, I told you so’ like the FBI

The area is about 90% Hispanic. But even if you assume 100% of the people working at SpaceX will be white, male, and republican, the economic impact of the facility will radiate well beyond the gates to all the local businesses and local taxes.

Huh? Brownsville is like 5 miles away and has a population of 200,000 people.

If SpaceX has to pack up and move it won’t be Trump voters being impacted. Cameron County, where the facility is located, is very blue. Hillary Clinton won there by over 30 pts in 2016.

Because as far as I know there’s no organization known as the LGBTQ. You are LGBTQ, you aren’t in the LGBTQ.

Because they at least have to show where the votes they ended up with came from. The machines may not maintain a record of every individual vote, but the totals are there. The total vote is the sum total returned from every individual machine’s total.

They’re not inauditable, the state is just refusing to allow anyone to do the audit because ‘reasons.’

“If you have ask...*I’m not going to tell you*” is seriously one of the most annoying, passive aggressive phrases in the English language.

Not AA, but what is there to discuss really?

I think you’d agree though, that if machine rigging via voting machine code was intentional, then displaying it on the screen would not be. It would have to be through incompetence (which the GOP doesn’t lack), but it’s still moot if no one is given access to the machines to check.

The code to switch the votes has to be in the machines either way. So if the machine is audited and the code is checked, it will be found whether you update the display or not. In fact, it’s probably shorter to write the code that doesn’t change the display.

I knew the South was backwards, but damn this was 1992
