Not Enough Day Drinking

Why should it matter if a person has a .05 BAC 10 minutes after they leave bar or 2 hours after they wake up? A .05 BAC is a .05 BAC regardless of the time of day or how many hours the person has been without drinking.

On average, a person can metabolize an ounce of alcohol per hour. So the simple rule of thumb is don’t drive until you’ve waited the number of hours equivalent to the number of drinks you had after your last drink.

“If you have one drink, and drive within the hour,” he told KUTV, “you’re going to be over .05,” he said. “You’d have to be crazy under this law to have anything to drink and drive.”

Mathematically, at least 25% of those who say they live paycheck to paycheck are guaranteed to make at least $35,000 a year or more. What you’re implying that those people are struggling just as much as someone making 10 or 15 thousand less a year. And I’m calling bullshit.

I think you totally missed the point. Just because ‘plenty of people’ (sounds like a Trump statement) saved money and still ended up in financial trouble, doesn’t mean they’d have been better off not saving.

They’ll declare insolvency, the physical assets will be sold for a fraction of what they cost to buy, the lawyers will get 40%, the clients will get a little (depending on the severity), no one will go to jail.

Except fixing the car if it breaks down is a requirement, not an option (if you want to keep your job and not be even poorer). So if you’re not planning for that and still spending on wants, then you’re living above your means because you haven’t taken care of the basics yet.

The fact that 40% of people don’t have $400 available isn’t so much a poverty issue as it is a spending and saving issue. How do I know that? Because the income for the bottom 40th percentile is just over $48,000 a year. If you can’t save a few hundred dollars while making over $40k, then you’re living above your

I think people mostly believe they live within their means without factoring in unexpected costs. In other words, “I make X, which means I can afford Y in rent, and Z in food, and still have so much left over every month.”

wtf is an xmas bonus?

I don’t feel like I’m living paycheck to paycheck and I try to save what I can. (I lost my job in 2009 and I know what it’s like to go a long time without a paycheck, so keeping a reserve is high on my list), but it’s still so easy to get wiped out.

If I dial 9-1-1 within 5 miles of the university campus, it gets re-routed back to campus police who are, in fact, real police with the authority to conduct investigations and make arrests.

Left it in the pants pocket and put it in the laundry machine by accident.

Because nothing says Christmas like rappers belting out Christmas carols.

Either the Bible is lies or the we know he wasn’t born in December (whynotboth.gif). The book says they were in Bethlehem for the Roman census, but Romans didn’t conduct their census in the winter. They only did it in the Spring.

Oh and when they ask you why you’re celebrating Christmas if you don’t believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ, just remind them that Jesus wasn’t born on the 25th of December. That date was chosen 300 years later by the Roman Emperor Constantine to usurp pagan celebrations. So tell them you celebrate the real meaning

My mother took it upon herself to loudly ask me, in front of everyone in the room, to stop and listen to what my nephew was saying. I stopped, I looked, I listened to what was essentially an Easter speech, wondering what my mother thought I could take from it that I hadn’t taken from years wasted on church and

I think the point was the Koba was being humanlike, not apelike. As demonstrated by his use of firearms and his willingness to kill other apes. “Ape not kill Ape”...except Koba who wasn’t really ape.

I looked it up, it was NSAID 845mg, and caffeine 65mg
