New York has one of the strongest teacher’s unions in the country. It doesn’t matter which side of the isle you ask:
A rubber room is indicative of a VERY strong union. Most places don’t need a rubber room, because they don’t even need to investigate. If they don’t like you, they fire you. There’s no grievance hearing, or appeals process, you’re just out of a job.
Really? Because to me it sounds like the union is incredibly strong. That ‘rubber room’ thing doesn’t happen in non-union states. You get fired. End of story.

This is classic ‘little bitch’ behavior. When he’s standing in front of someone he doesn’t have the balls to say anything. When he’s back home safe and sound with his phone, he’ll tweet out something that he thinks sounds tough and his followers will eat it up.
I don’t know anything about this case, the accused, or the accuser, so I’m not talking specifically related to this, but in general.
It’s not that people think the criminal justice system is equally wrong on either side of innocent/guilty. It’s that the justice system is especially likely to find a black person guilty whether or not they were actually guilty.
