I have three things to say:

1. Yes, I can understand why this new shifter would definitely be less “intuitive” to some people.

2. That’s not a fucking excuse. There are TWO indicators in the vehicle. It is your responsibility as a driver to ensure your vehicle is parked.

3. JUST BECAUSE IT IS AN AUTOMATIC, DOES NOT MEAN…

Or taking the half a second to ensure the vehicle is in park.

Which is probably anybody should do in any car, no matter the shifter.
