And the thing is, it can’t replace our writer. It’s great for stuff we don’t want to bother a writer with, but it doesn’t replace them even a little.

The AI hype was always delusional, not least because for all the claims it could replace labor, nobody has actually successfully done it.

Not only that it’s dumber than rocks, but it’s not actually going to improve at all and as the datasets they steal start to include content that was itself AI generated it will get even worse. Plus consumers hate it and actively avoid things advertised as ‘AI’.

That’s what happens when you believe in nothing but yourself.
