There are two types of cops in America: Bad cops and cops who cover for bad cops.

I see the problem right here: people are taking Twitter/X/whatever they’re calling it this week seriously.  Half the weird comments are bots, and the other half should not be dignified with any kind of acknowledgement. 

George Carlin did the same thing, and his stories were also ridiculously embellished.

Any officer who is being investigated should be prohibited from retiring or resigning in order to avoid repercussions. Period.

I’m not a fan of Minhaj, but this is a stupid controversy. Comedians embellish & make shit up. That’s part of the job. The goal isn’t to tell the truth, it’s to make you laugh.

The premise is stupid. All comedians embellish for effect.

I’ll have to read the New Yorker piece first, but did everyone really think each joke a comedian tells is akin to testimony in a court of law?

What has happened to the younger generations that they believe things like a comedian can’t embellish or a biopic has to have nothing but scenes of verbatim truth?

The stuff with Franken was fucking stupid. The people who started banging the drum against him were not acting in good faith, but managed to make enough of a racket to get a sitting Senator to step down. It was basically a more successful version of what happened to James Gunn.

Also, her babies’ daddy travels for work, meaning that he is employed. Even if he isn’t part of the household anymore, why isn’t there child support?

Yeah I kept waiting for the justification of the grade but….nada! This season has been amazing.

I loved this one. Great story and I laughed quite a bit. A- at the least. One of the best episodes this season
