So, what is normal procedure for people who get sick or injured on cruises? I feel like I hear of people getting sick on cruises all the time, and they don’t all end up with five figure medical bills.

If you’re traveling in the EU, my understanding is you can be treated by EU healthcare, which is much more affordable. I think most countries with universal healthcare are like that.

You joke, but literally a week ago Trump gutted a key airline safety committee.

So it’s to terrify and intimidate. Like most cop behavior.

He can’t even make a rocket that doesn’t explode yet. I don’t think it’s gonna happen (unfortunately).

That would require some sort of wacky social safety net instead of living in a society that spits on anyone who isn’t grinding away for the machine 24/7. That would be crazy! Elon needs to make another exploding rocket.

Those carbon fiber side vents look absolutely terrible.

And hilariously there are still people who are against body cams. The only reasoning I’ve ever seen anyone use is “they’ll just turn them off” and like, make that a punishable offense then?? There’s literally no reason not to want police officers to have body cams unless you are overtly against holding them

I concede my comment was a vast over-simplification, but ultimately your last sentence is what I’m getting at.

Don’t we import most of our oil from Canada? Seems antithetical to lowering gas prices.

I wonder if the guy in charge of the Dept of Government Efficiency will realize how inefficient it is for this government contractor to eat up massive amounts of dollars making rockets that don’t do much except explode.

It’s just absurd to me that “Hardships for all, handouts for billionaires” was essentially the Republican platform in 2024, and they just won on it.

They got Moo Deng, Mariah, Pepe the Prawn and Elmo? I’m not watching the video, but based on the thumbnail that’s wild.

I just don’t see what the endgame is for immediately crippling US businesses and causing prices to skyrocket while potentially millions lose their jobs.

Not sure if it works in the auto industry, but for most other industries this would absolutely not work even in the short term.

Right, but that means that only the top businesses with infinite capital will be exempted, which still leaves most US businesses in a totally unsustainable position.

It feels like if these tariffs actually go into effect the way Trump repeatedly claims they will, it would absolutely wreck most businesses operating in the US.

Man that last picture of the sideview brings me right back to the early aughts when this model Focus (the base version) was like every third car on the road. Not something you see too often anymore. But I always thought the SVT was neat.

Adding my voice to the chorus of “For $27,000 I’d better be getting air conditioning”. It’s a ND from me.
