I have often wondered this about Florida, and I believe (at least on high traffic roads) it’s largely due to speed and tailgating.

It’s almost like all of this AI is not actually able to do the things they claim it can, and may never actually be able to, and shouldn’t actually be replacing people in any capacity until it can actually do the things the hype claims it can.
And there’s already precedent for him hallucinating people. So yeah, I think that’s the worst kept secret. When they reveal it hopefully it’s not done in such a way that we’re supposed to be shocked by it.
According to Horry County’s website (and many other sources) no motor vehicles of any kind are allowed on Myrtle Beach, so it is not a drive-on beach, so there’s no reason for bathers to be watchful of cars, other than cops not looking where they’re going.
What’s the reason for police to need to be driving ON the actual beach, a place where people are likely to be lying down in the sand and difficult for a truck to see?
I think it had 4 seasons total and I watched 3 of them? One was like a prequel season, and then the 4th I never finished. It was jarring that key roles were recast, even though obviously the death of your star is not something anyone is prepared for.
Not only has it been told in Gladiator, but even when you consider the “behind the scenes machinations” I feel like that was a big part of Spartacus, which ran for a bunch of seasons.
He’s specifically a creep toward women, so no, you can’t really remove the qualifier.
Right, but since we ARE livin in a police state with illegal stops and illegal civil asset forfeiture, why does it appear to be applied so inconsistently? If we all live under the system where cops can take our stuff even if we AREN’T convicted of a crime, why do they drag their feet when a repeat offender commits…
I think the funniest part about this is #1) This isn’t even the first time he’s tellin this story, he went through this whole thing at a rally back in October, people just forgot, and will likely forget about this until the next time he does it.
I dunno how an article that seemingly exists to critique the “cultural appropiration” of a 75 year old film can somehow think it’s okay in 2024 to describe something humorously as “spasmodic” but okay, sure.
You mean to tell me that Zoom CEO who said he thinks people will start using their AI avatars to attend Zoom meetings while they go to the beach doesn’t actually understand shit about his company, or any company? No way man, no way.
The trailers seem to show like 20 different scenes of facehuggers impregnating people, and like maybe 2 scenes of actual aliens.
Yeah the article mentions how the docs got all the surviving Beach Boys together, or unprecedented access to Henson’s family and inner circle, and then wonders why the resulting docs aren’t hit pieces that dig into all the dirty secrets.
I don’t even know who’s a “fan” of J.Lo these days. Like what demo is she playing to?
I don’t think that shift happens quite the same anymore. You start to realize that your taxes either stay pretty much the same under Republicans as Democrats, or you start to realize that any short term tax savings you’ll get from a Republican president are offset by having your wages continually kept low, having…
The road action sequences in Furiosa were dazzling, on par with anything from Fury Road, but I think stretching the story out as a years long “saga” rather than setting it over a couple of days really changes the overall feel and pacing of the action.
I think part of the fun is that, at least from this review, it seems that even when Tommy Wiseau leans in to making an intentionally bad movie, he still can’t avoid the fact that he doesn’t actually know how to make a competent film.
This actually went much better for the man than I expected, and hoped. I was hoping he would actually get to experience what the apex predator of the ocean, that even great white sharks fear, is capable of.
I enjoyed Poor Things, but there’s something about Yorgos Lanthimos and animal violence in his films that makes me think...okay, maybe enough with the animal violence.
