I have often wondered this about Florida, and I believe (at least on high traffic roads) it’s largely due to speed and tailgating.

It’s almost like all of this AI is not actually able to do the things they claim it can, and may never actually be able to, and shouldn’t actually be replacing people in any capacity until it can actually do the things the hype claims it can.

And there’s already precedent for him hallucinating people. So yeah, I think that’s the worst kept secret. When they reveal it hopefully it’s not done in such a way that we’re supposed to be shocked by it.

According to Horry County’s website (and many other sources) no motor vehicles of any kind are allowed on Myrtle Beach, so it is not a drive-on beach, so there’s no reason for bathers to be watchful of cars, other than cops not looking where they’re going.

The road action sequences in Furiosa were dazzling, on par with anything from Fury Road, but I think stretching the story out as a years long “saga” rather than setting it over a couple of days really changes the overall feel and pacing of the action.

I think part of the fun is that, at least from this review, it seems that even when Tommy Wiseau leans in to making an intentionally bad movie, he still can’t avoid the fact that he doesn’t actually know how to make a competent film.

This actually went much better for the man than I expected, and hoped. I was hoping he would actually get to experience what the apex predator of the ocean, that even great white sharks fear, is capable of.

I enjoyed Poor Things, but there’s something about Yorgos Lanthimos and animal violence in his films that makes me think...okay, maybe enough with the animal violence.
