The robot video of the actual robot was still being controlled remotely by a human.

Oh man Kong is the star of a movie with his name in the title?
For something to age like milk, it had to be good at one point. The Chevy SSR was always a terrible looking car.
Yeah, with The Root going comment-less and running headlines barely above “this one trick” in terms of click-baity-ness, it’s not lookin great for the ole G/O.
He was also in The Dark Knight Rises as Ben Mendelsohn’s stooge, and was in Game of Thrones as a Nights Watch guy who becomes an enemy of Jon Snow in Season 2 (the one who takes over Craster’s Keep).
It was originally a children’s book and was adapted into a short cartoon.
A Harold and the Purple Crayon movie featuring an adult Harold played by Zachary Levi seems like a crappy SNL sketch.
I mean, you already pay a premium for delivery services like DoorDash. In addition to delivery fees, menu prices are often higher for DoorDash items.
Yeah, Mackenzie Davis’s character really treats Stewart’s character like crap the whole time, and never really has to be held accountable for her shitty behavior or gets any kind of real comeuppance.
Maybe on the Cybertruck, but not the standard Teslas where the steering wheel was replaced by the yoke. That was just a one to one swap out, which made no sense. Tesla even basically admitted this by offering a steering wheel retrofit that immediately sold out.
I have my issues with that movie but that scene is a classic. Prometheus definitely didn’t try to lean into gore for the sake of it, especially compared with Covenant.
Yup, in that it is purely aesthetics that he cares about.
I may be in the minority but I hope this doesn’t lean too heavily into the gore. I’m sure it will, because of the director, and this trailer, and the buzz around some sort of scene that’s apparently more gruesome than ever before or something.
I think this may also have to do with the fact that Ridley Scott is more heavily involved with most of the more recent Alien film output.
Just because you put a yoke instead of a steering wheel doesn’t mean the car is a plane.
I guess my criticism is more geared toward the study than this article. But I still think maybe the framing of the article should have been centered on how absurd the “loneliness” claim is, rather than an extended summary that only begins to touch on the real reasons. But at least you brought them into the discussion.
That was a really comprehensive and thorough breakdown of what I was getting at, thank you.
This article talks a lot about loneliness before touching on income inequality, finally in paragraph 12. Why aren’t millennials and Gen Z as happy as older people? Because they can’t afford things, their pay is lower, their expenses are higher, and they feel like they’re living through a slow-walked apocalypse while…
That still doesn’t appear to work, at least not for me on iOS mobile.
Not that I’m trying to poke anyone, but I opened my Facebook app and can’t find the option to poke anyone anywhere, at least not on mobile.
