So I mostly agree with you. I think the main issue a lot of people have is that we’re being forced into a pretty crappy choice with this old dude with a fading memory who is all in on Palestinian genocide. It sucks.

I don’t think it can steal cars, but I wouldn’t call it “harmless”. There are plenty of nefarious uses for the Flipper zero.
This is like the “ten second car” Brian O’Connor rolled into Dom Toretto’s shop to replace the one he wrecked.
If Lil Jon and Ludacris don’t show up for Yeah, the whole thing is a failure.
Does Dakota Johnson enjoy being in movies? Why is she an actor? Nothing says nepo baby like “I’m an actor because I HAVE to be, but I hate it here.”
I really love the Beluga XL, especially with the painted on face.
You gotta wonder how they didn’t just carpet-bomb these things. I get that they’re super resilient but they can’t fly, and the sequel established they can’t even SWIM!
A lot of people are saying tires are easily $1000 for a Prius, and I can’t recall the last time I paid over $500 for four tires, and it’s not like I’m driving crap cars (‘06 Civic Si, ‘14 BRZ, ‘22 WRX). I’m not getting top of the line performance tires but I’m getting things that are guaranteed for at least 40k miles.
This was my mother’s dream car, and her rich friend who barely drove it sold it to her for a song when he upgraded to a newer generation.
I have to say, in addition to the terrible movies she was in making pathetic box office, it was also some good schadenfreude to see the right wing audience blast the movies for having a tough “woke” badass woman lead.
The only thing I really found to try to bring him down (because of course someone always tries) is that Sinead O’Connor said much later that he took advantage of her in kind of a vague way, but she clarifies that it was NOT in a sexual way and anything they did was consensual...this was also a time when Sinead…
Yeah, I remember right around his tax changes is when I went full remote for the pandemic. And suddenly couldn’t deduct my personal expenses like electricity, utilities, office space, etc.
Kris Kristofferson rules. Every story I’ve heard about him is great. (Cue someone coming in to tell me he’s actually an asshole)
Even giving your extremely generous estimations ($1k for tires is quite a high range estimate, and even 7 oil changes at $100 would be $700, plus $1k you mentioned, then $5k in extra repairs, we’re still well under $10k in repairs). I’m not sure the other things you mentioned would make up that difference.
I’m trying to think what kind of “maintenance” amounts to 13k in a single year. That has to be an outlier right, like you replaced a whole transmission or something? Paying 13k in maintenance every year seems like a lot.
The opening quote, knowing it comes from a story about a woman going insane after a brain injury, seems to lead further credence to the idea that all the supernatural goings on are tied to peoples’ brains being messed with by the microorganisms disturbed by the mining and TSALAL experiments.
Crazy how this is all the result of woke and DEI and not the obvious subcontracting and cost cutting. Those wokesters are just knocking planes right out of the sky!
This is a different guy in a Tesla using a Vision Pro while his car self-drives.
Yeah, I don’t even know why she tries to say things that won’t set people off, they’re gonna find shit to complain about.
This show keeps trying to make “Twist and Shout” work as some sort of creepy symbol of the show and it just is not doing it for me. No matter how much you slow it down with moody pianos or have creepy characters drawl it. It’s not creepy.
