Right, part of the point is that Sokka’s sexism is ingrained in the Water Tribe culture and he has to actively fight against it. It’s part of Katara’s arc too, to defy the expectations that she should just be a healer and leave fighting to the men.

Yeah, Sokka’s sexism is never played for humor, except when he’s the butt of the joke for being wrong about it.

This guy’s a noted dipshit troll, best not to engage.

I’ve seen so many internet posts talking about “problematic” characters that are just the villains. Like, that’s what a villain is. Someone with bad ideas you aren’t supposed to support.

Very strange this is being promoted like some kind of criticism of the healthcare industry, god forbid an actor work to keep their status in the Screen Actors Guild, which comes with health insurance coverage.

Like the totally autonomous robot that was originally just a guy in spandex, and now is just an animatronic puppet being controlled by a human just off camera.

Also, the recap acts like the orange came from nowhere, when you can clearly see the hillbillies drop a bunch of oranges, one of which is picked up by Navarro and stuffed into her coat. She later throws it into the dark and it rolls back.

Annie Potts was back in the last movie too.

It depends on how widespread and “magic” the show wants these microorganisms to be. Perhaps they are infecting not only the Tsalal researchers, but others including Fiona Shaw and Navarro to varying degrees. Causing Navarro to see the researcher talk to her about her mother, or causing Shaw’s character to see her dead

The 993 generation Porsche 911 mirrors always weirded me out.

My question exactly. I think when these types of name change proposals are brought up, a lot of times it’s to stop having to replace the sign every time it gets stolen.

I’m genuinely curious - is there any occupation where “eight amputations” would be considered fairly normal?

My theory is that most of the supernatural happenings will prove to be caused by the microorganisms that were being studied by the Tsalal group breaking free of their frozen prisons and somehow infecting everyone’s brains.

The reviewer also says Navarro found the orange out on the ice. She actually picked it up from a bunch of oranges dropped by the hillbillies in the beginning, and stuffed it in her coat. She then pulled it out on the ice and threw it into the darkness. Then it seemingly was thrown or rolled right back at her.

Cool was your hammer trained on copyrighted material from millions of artists?

I haven’t directly talked to anyone about this game.

AI “art” has been nothing but a boon to the worst types of people. The worst white supremacist memers on Twitter. The worst YouTube a-holes who need a quick attention grabbing thumbnail. The worst misinformers trying to create a convincing fake image. The worst lazy jagoffs who whine that leaving art to those who take

More than just the fact that it’s Musk’s company, all the information coming out about how difficult repairs are, and how Tesla blames ridiculous repairs on practically new cars on the consumer. No thanks. Don’t need that mess.

yeah that seems like a pretty worthless “rule”.

I haven’t played the game, but everyone I’ve seen discussing it makes it seem like “Pokemon except you can torture them/use them for slave labor/eat them”. Which like...does not appeal to me? And it’s kinda scary that it seems to appeal to so many people.
