Agreed on The Witch. The pacing was difficult for me. It’s exceedingly slow and nothing really wild happens for 95% of the runtime. I enjoyed The Lighthouse and The Northman a lot, but The Witch is just too slow for me to want to return to.

I like how this article at no point explains what Saltburn is.
The weird thing is it’s still in the top menu, just without any new articles and the comments completely scrubbed.
The news is so chock full of Sam Altman stories and I cannot for the life of me glean any information from any of these stories about why the fuck I should care about this dude?
Prometheus sucks in a lot of ways, but also has a lot going for it. The characters make stupid decisions to the point where they almost ruin the entire movie. But the big ideas are intriguing, and David remains an iconic character.
I saw the trailer and I knew I recognized the voice from somewhere. It’s Alan Tudyk, but not JUST Alan Tudyk...it’s note for note his Clayface voice from Harley Quinn.
Far too kind to Alien: Covenant.
I forget what Katt Williams said exactly about cancel culture, but the gist was pretty much “People don’t find this shit funny anymore. If you’re making people mad instead of making them laugh, that’s a you problem. Comedy should be making the most amount of people laugh.”
Not that I disagree with you on principle, but how do you actually do this? Israel is a nuclear state, what is actually going to persuade them to just say “Sure, we’ll leave”?
That little bit about Ray Stevenson not thinking he’s the villain is so neat, and really highlights what we lost when he passed. He was a great actor who could elevate a character over how it was written. It’s a shame we won’t see how it plays out, at least not with him in the role. I can’t think of someone who could…
Wasn’t the whole thing about Dance with Dragons was that it had to be split up from Feast for Crows because they were originally one book that was too dense and needed to be cut in half?
This dude is so tiring. He’ll never admit he’s the reason people are fleeing his platform in droves, any reporting that shows demonstrable and provable things is just gonna be transparently attacked without merit. He’s gonna file frivolous lawsuits to try to destroy journalism outfits that accurately report on his…
Agreed, she’s the best part. The movie, to me, was kinda a bridge too far in terms of suspension of disbelief...even for an MCU movie, the internal logic was pretty hard to follow at times.
This is everything, unfortunately, not just Amazon. Well-liked small company sells out and gets absorbed by larger company. Larger company makes product worse, then decides it’s not worth it and kills it. Tale as old as time.
That was my thought. Maybe the burial was messed up in some kind of way and it would have been clear when they exhumed him.
Wilson’s actor died....Jesus, 20 years ago, so it’d have to be like his daughter or son or brother or sister or something.
I would love to hear a late 40s Andre 3000 rap about the problems of getting old.
Am I missing something? What exactly is the spoiler? That the show is not a completely straightforward adaptation? For a site that usually just unashamedly posts spoilers right in header images, a spoiler tag for something this vague is an odd choice.
There have been stories about the film on the bridges for like, over a week now. They did it way before “race week”.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen the fake Grindhouse trailer, but I kinda remember someone fucking a cooked turkey? Did that happen?
