Is it worse than Black Widow, Eternals, Multiverse of Madness, Quantumania, Love and Thunder, and Ultron? In order: Yes, No, Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes. Other than Eternals, while all of those movies are flawed, I still enjoy them much more than Dark World.

For me, anytime I see one of those Polaris trike things I always think Boomer immediately. For the life of me I can’t post an image for some Kinja reason.

Thanks! I missed it.

Did I miss it in the article or is the mileage never given?

All I see from their wording is “safety scrims and barriers”, but even if they are planning to put screening over top of the bridge, that doesn’t change the fact that putting a film on the current barrier serves no safety purpose and will not itself stop anything from being thrown from the bridge, nor will it stop

He was part of Thor’s social group but they all hated him. It always seemed like they kept him around because he was Thor’s brother. It felt like Sif and the Warriors Three tolerated him because Thor still believed in him for some reason, despite him constantly acting malicious toward them.

The update from the PD makes no sense. It won’t stop race debris any more than the current barrier, it’s just a film. Also it doesn’t add any height, so it won’t stop pedestrians from hucking anything onto the race track.

You could argue that, sure. The people who run the Hall of Fame don’t agree.

Again, it’s not some holy organization that was created by natural forces and is guided by an ever-changing guard of worthy stewards. It was started by a record exec and it’s under the control of the folks who run the organization. You can’t “force them out”. They decide what they want to do with the organization.

I mean that’s fine, they clearly don’t see it that way.

I mean, the people in charge of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame decided that. It’s not like someone stepped in and made them do that. It’s their organization, they can play as fast and loose as they want with their rules. It’s not some unimpeachable institution, it’s just a museum founded by a record exec like 40 years

I mean, sure that’s a take, but if they’re gonna include pop and country, there’s no real justification for excluding rap.

Mine says “no user found” when I check my notifications.

Distorting initiatives designed to bring diversity into a field or area where it’s historically lacking to make it about the white men who’ve dominated said field as long as it has existed is such nefarious shit.

There are so many rappers who should get in before Missy Elliot.

Glad HBO is axing beloved shows from its content library and pausing development of new prestige TV so we can get more of .... whatever this is.

In his defense, “rules don’t apply to him” is pretty much par for the course these days (I’m not actually defending it, it’s infuriating).

It seems like it was less a “costume” and more an entire professional staged photo shoot featuring a full environment with props and things from the film, which I guess is the celebrity “thing” instead of wearing a costume and going out, you just take a bunch of professional pics for the gram.

This seems like the flimsiest disclaimer I’ve ever seen. Nothing to do with this person...who we won’t name because then it’s obvious that it’s this person...who we have nothing to do with.

Fair enough, but does she have to stand on the lawn all night running the sprinklers for anyone to get it?
