The most intriguing part of the Obi-Wan series, to me, were the early scenes showing his life in hiding, trying to blend in, trying to be as “normal” as possible, the tension with the Lars...When Leia showed up it was interesting, but it ran out of steam quickly.

Much harder to monetize an altruistic approach where the paid features aren’t necessary than it is to just dangle the best profiles behind a paywall and add a bunch of microtransactions and require a subscription to unlock even the most basic features.

Have you ever heard Trump talk? First, nobody is going to ask him because none of the people he agrees to speak with care about it, and even if he allowed someone outside of his sycophants to interview him or ask him questions, any other outlet is going to be terrified of arousing his ire and siccing his base on them.

Finally a way to watch this that doesn’t involve going to a theater or paying $20 on prime.

If he didn’t think he was 100% going to lose, he wouldn’t be saying Disney should drop the case and move on.

I seriously doubt Disney just wants to “move on”.

I really hate the career path of “getting viral on the internet by sharing the minutiae of my boring daily life long enough for some megacorp to take notice and enlist me to make videos where I’m like ‘OMG yall Amazon Prime is totes the goat in terms of my totally organic and not at all spon con shopping experience!’

Man, I can smell that interior from here. Something about velour upholstery and plastic dash in the heat, it just has that stank on it.

I mean, the cover can’t even get the spacing right with its subheading (2023MAUI FIRES).

Not to mention it’s pretty absurd for Sinema to asks Democrats to “compromise” on the issue of abortion, which has been consistently blowing up in the GOP’s faces ever since they got Roe overturned. It’s a losing issue for them. You don’t compromise with an opponent who is losing on an issue. You press your advantage.

I get that, and she’s definitely feeding negatively into it by not just giving a pat “sure I love my fans”, but in this case fans specifically asked “Do you love us??” which is what I’m focused on here. Like they really keep needling her for this validation that clearly, she is not interested in giving.

Sure, that’s fine and I understand that, I think she’s definitely doing herself a disservice by shit talking her fans, as I said in my original post. However, it also strikes me as weird that her fans are demanding the kind of validation where they ask her if she “loves” them...like...just listen to her music if you

Torn here. While I don’t think it’s very prudent career-wise for her to shit talk her own fans constantly, I also think the weird parasocial relationships fans form with the objects of their fandom are fucking weird. Why should she “love” her fans? She’s right, she doesn’t even know them.

Nobody should listen to Kyrsten Sinema.

I’ve watched it like 4 or 5 times since it was released, it’s so fun to repeat watch.

A MAGA lady was just arrested for threatening the life of Judge Chutkan (the judge overseeing one of the Trump cases). Would it surprise you that her threat not only name checked Trump but also called Judge Chutkan (a black woman) a slave?

I think in their mind they get to showcase “real America” and then when they lose their jobs and get dragged across the internet they can whine about “cancel culture” and all the pundits and politicians on the right while rend their garments over the cancelation without mentioning the actual content of the deeds even

Finally, now I can stop complaining at last.

The amount of eye-searing red all over this car, inside and out, keeps me from an NP. I just can’t absorb that much red.

It sucks, you either don’t sell on Amazon and thus cut off a huge portion of the market who uses it almost exclusively for online shopping, or you sell on Amazon and have to 1) drop your prices, 2) pay endless fees for storage/shipping/placing/advertising/etc. and 3) open yourself up to being copied by Amazon and
