Wait wait wait - Nina Arianda could be playing Janis Joplin? That's fantastic, that's perfect casting. I cringed at the idea of Amy Adams in the role (wild miscasting) but I'd watch the hell out of an Arianda Joplin biopic. Of course it won't happen, as Janis has cursed all movies about her life from beyond the grave,

Yes, but I think Little China (with the 'beyond sexual' reference) is actually referring to this Fuller quote:

Oh, yeah - practically speaking that's exactly it. I know they'd have to survive for the series to continue. It's just such a bold, unexpected ending that I almost don't want to see it changed.

K dude. Whatever.

Nope, I am right there with you.

I don't quite understand why they didn't just have them kiss - seriously, it's not like they seem straight at this point - but at the same time I think gay couples are held to a much higher standard of 'proof'. If a man and a woman were behaving the way Hannibal and Will did, no one would argue whether their fucked up

He's responsible for the death of Margot's much anticipated baby, remember? As well as stealing her uterus.

Hannibal never managed to lure me into sexy cannibalism but David Bowie might be able to.

Well done. This is how I see it as well. It's worth noting that Will's righteous rage against certain kinds of people is not actually unusual at all. Did anyone shed a tear when Jeffrey Dahmer got murdered? When Saddam Hussien was executed? Not to mention that Alana and Margot straight up killed a guy and get to go on

I agree with this. I'm a bit annoyed that no one ever seemed to clue in to Dolarhyde's willingness to shoot people in the face in public, but I don't think that was deliberate on Will's part at all. He seemed startled and then resigned, not like he knew it was coming.

I poached some eggs in a white wine/water/garlic mixture, but it wasn't as flavorful as it could have been. I think I'll use straight wine next time.

I was so pleased to see that adorable moppet escape with his wildly fashionable mothers.

I've seen people suggesting that Will and Hannibal somehow escaped their fates to come back and destroy Bedelia, but that would damage the rest of the episode for me. First off I still don't believe it of Will - he wants to see her squirm a bit, but he has no desire to actually hurt her. And it's so much more fitting

Why does he use one in the book, if you don't mind me asking? Did Reba leave some behind?

I want her and Alana to escape unscathed with their baby so bad.

And the scene just goes on and on and on … the psychological torture was almost as bad as watching Chilton lose his lips; the way he kept casting around for the right thing to say, the thing that would let him survive. Almost but not quite.

I would not be the slightest bit surprised if Bedelia and Hannibal were somehow in cahoots for the purpose of screwing with Will's head.

I agree with this - I also don't think that Hammer's Kuryakin is or was intended to be stupid. In fact I thought that was an important point about the character; that he's treated like a big dumb attack dog, but he's actually more complicated than that. And it's not like they could ignore Hammer's size so they might

Hyperbole (/haɪˈpɜrbəliː/ hy-PUR-bə-lee; Greek: ὑπερβολή, hyperbolē, lit. "exaggeration") is the use of exaggeration as a rhetorical device or figure of speech.

Yes, exactly! The animal-people are the same kind of characters as the enchanted mice ot teapots, there are ships crashing instead of musical numbers, and Jupiter gets to wear a bunch of boss ballgowns. It works on a fairytale level - ordinary girl turns out to be a secret princess. It is all the mary sue stories I
