I think you're absolutely right, they're playing up the comedic aspects so it'll be even more shocking when the real darkness comes out. Even in the books, Olaf's character is a balance between laughable and terrifying.

ASOUE was my absolute favorite series when I was a kid, and this looks like everything ten-year-old me could have hoped for in an adaptation. (I really liked the movie but it was so rushed. I think television is the perfect medium to adapt ASOUE, especially since it looks like they're tying in the VFD mystery to books

I'm a huge Loki fan, and I was pretty interested in this book until I saw the art. Then the election robbed me of the ability to find joy or amusement in anything.

Fun fact: there was already a Clue musical off-Broadway in the 90s. I played Mrs. White in my high school's production of it. It had some interesting elements - an audience member randomly picked the killer, weapon, and location at the beginning of the show, and scenes changed based on who the killer was - but overall

As someone whose family is pretty involved in Masonic organizations, I look forward to a show centering around Paul Giamatti attending pancake breakfasts, drinking the strongest black coffee imaginable, and giving candy to the Rainbow Girls.

I was a little too young to watch The Joy of Painting in its heyday, but This Old House and The New Yankee Workshop were constantly on in my house when I was growing up because my mom is fascinated by woodworking. Norm Abram was my guy when I was like six.

My sister and I have watched a lot of things solely because Broadway stars we like are in them. Also Tom Hiddleston and Matthew Goode because I got a crush on 'em.

My female friends and I loved this book when I was a senior in high school. We really just liked the story where he poops all over the Embassy Suites.

I went to Western for several years and yeah, everywhere in Whatcom County but Bellingham is pretty much super conservative. Actually, once you get outside the cities and the Seattle suburbs, a good chunk of western Washington is red. I live in Kitsap and I just don't ever talk about politics with anyone.

I played Magic once in high school with my best friend and another guy from our regular RPG group. I don't really remember anything about the game, but it is notable as the only time my friend has ever called me a bitch. I didn't really feel like playing after that. I enjoy looking at the art, though!

It's super personal for me as well. When I was 11 I was obsessed with Lemony Snicket, so my dad burned me a copy of 69 Love Songs that had all the songs with swearing and sex cut out so I could hear Daniel Handler play the accordion. I remember my sister and I being in the backseat on car trips, pressing our ears to

My favorite is probably "The One You Really Love". "All My Little Words" is also excellent.

I really liked Paris Je T'aime when I first saw it (disclaimer: I was a France-obsessed teenager and may have been biased), and there were a couple of segments that have stuck with me. The ending, with Margo Martindale's character describing her trip to Paris in beginner French, was quite affecting. The Coen brothers'

It's called an inverted bob! Really a spectrum that ranges from "Ramona Flowers" to "Can I Speak to Your Manager". They are extremely cute.

Yeah, Dragon Age is probably my all-time favorite game series, and while I do love playing the games I often watch youtubes of them for exactly that reason. I love Josephine and I'd love to play her romance, but when a playthrough of Inquisition takes 90 hours I'd prefer to just look up her romance online than spend
