It’s OK to go to 100%. Just don’t let it sit. Charge and go immediately.

My kids squarely in the Mr Beast demo. The guy primarily does over the top stupid stunts for clicks. He’s bright but not very well informed and engages in in philanthropic acts without a real clear understanding of the bigger picture. He holds cruel competitions where people allow themselves to be psychologically…
“Social Media Influencer” is a viable career in the same way Professional Football Player, musician or actor is a viable career. They are all long shots and the vast majority of people who attempt to have these “viable careers” end up elsewhere. I don’t say this to dissuade people. Go for it if it is your passion, you…
There is something very, very deeply off with him, but I can’t figure out what it is specifically.
Something about his face sets off my “scammer” alarms. Maybe the fake smile with dead eyes?
Are we really still pretending that the Model 3 is a legitimate competitor for the 3 series? The build quality isn’t even close to the same standard, the interior is worse than all but the cheapest of economy cars, and it’s somehow even less reliable. Maybe a few years ago you could argue about Tesla having the…
I’ve sat in it. It’s cramped. And very low to get in and awkward to get out. Visibility outwards is also poor. Drives super nice, and lots of pretty interior to look at since that takes up more of your vision than out the window, but using it as a DD machine in traffic with lots of on street parking is not it’s forte.…
I went to Toyota dealership and asked if they had one I could see to make sure i fit inside. they laughed at me, said they were never going to have a Supra and if they did they wouldnt let people sit in it.. this was a turn off.
This is another great example of keyboard warriors loudly exclaiming the need for a manual transmission and whining about “engagement” and bitching about (superior) modern automatics and DSGs...and then not buying them. Once the Supra offered a manual, sales dropped.
Worse...
What were the sales of the Toyobaru twins? I think for those of us with more, ahem, modest means, a GR86 or BRZ could get us most (part?) of the way there for a fraction of the price.
Don’t let your facts get in the way of these dummies’ feelings and copaganda.
When Dallas was considering limiting high-speed chases, the data showed that nearly all of the drivers who ran weren’t wanted for anything or, if they had a warrant, it was for minor misdemeanor offenses, suspended licenses, or unpaid tickets. Dallas ultimately decided to limit high-speed chases to certain…
This. 90% of the complaints about charging speed and time are people who do not drive an EV. Been driving EVs for 7 years now and I don’t know what the big hoopla is about, especially now that I have Teslas that charge at 250kw. (Had Bolts before this and that could be painful.) On a long day of driving, I might stop…
Because police can just as easily “chase” you with radios, surveillance and detective work that doesn’t endanger the general public.
My last road trip in my Tesla from California to Idaho I would plug in, go to the bathroom, grab a snack and leave as the car was done charging, not sure why those folks were sitting around. Maybe there was a longer stretch without chargers. It’s even nicer driving from NorCal to SoCal because of the more frequent…
...the abysmal charging speeds of the Bolt and Leaf are almost certainly responsible for this statistic by themselves. If you’re road tripping a Bolt it can take 90 minutes to get from 20-80%...and 2 hours if you try to get into the 90s. Compared to the fastest charging EVs like the EV6, Hummer Ev, Lucid, etc. which…
The article just says that the wiper is big & floppy. That’s it. Not sure how you interpret that as being against Tesla.
So long as those other providers still exist, anyway. They’re already bleeding funding, and the UX isn’t up to par with Tesla’s Superchargers. The concern is that other EVs charging on Tesla chargers will be the final nail in the coffin for those other charger operators, which would leave Tesla the only option
One simple step in researching a dealer is to use Google Maps to inspect their location. From the overhead view, does it look orderly? Are there vehicles like the one you’re shopping for on the lot? Does the area around the dealer look solid, or is it a shabby industrial park? Then go to street view. Does the showroom…
