100 miles in 5 minutes?!?!

I’m sure the goalpost will be moved again by the “I don’t know why we stopped using carburetors” crowd.

For something I use often or will need to turn on/off (HVAC, for instance), having actual buttons is absolutely preferred.

A clock (that you set just twice a year unless your battery dies) is one of the few things that’s honestly just fine to bury in a touchscreen menu tree.

Tesla has been around for 20 years now. It’s not exactly a startup anymore.

Because it’s equivalent to a paid placement by Tesla. That “worker” was prepped with that script specifically for that interview.  Pure propaganda.

“Tesla still very much has a startup culture and that’s a lot different than a union culture,” one Tesla worker at the Fremont factory told Insider. “I think people join Tesla because they want to work hard. They want to push themselves. They want to find ways to stand out by going above and beyond and that’s

Cool! Looks like they need a lot more testing.

They love paying to be beta-testers at 70mph!

This total didn’t even include taxes and the like. The person said “$98,990 + $7000 + TTL”

Yikes. Given the general rise in wages everywhere, probably time to start job hunting.

This whole thing is so funny because it ended up going exactly the way every knowledgeable person predicted it would. It’s literally the automotive equivalent of NFTs and crypto.

Will people still be excited enough about a seven-year-old design?”

I see at least one every time I drive what are you talking about,

Some guy at the gym: “Hey, anyone in here have a Tesla? It’s raining outside and your windows are down.”

“Just make a monthly budget and make sure your car payment fits into that budget.”

Yeah…I’m going to hope that “advice” from a dealer is ignored for this slide show. It’s not advice. It’s profit management.

You do, but not from the dealer. Just get it through your insurance it’s a lot cheaper, easier to deal with if you have a claim, and likely more reputable than whatever company they’re using.

I hate the advice to only pay for a car in cash. Getting a loan with no early payoff fees is a great option if you have the cash to pay it down quicker or off from the start. Its even better if you can get a low interest loan or additional incentives on the purchase price too.

That you actually need 4wd in most parts of the country. My Veloster did fine in the far west suburbs of Chicago and site visits all over northern IL every winter. Snow tires > 4wd.
