On a serious note small lockboxes from Snapsafe and others are $30-50 and only take a minute to use. There are also things like Tuffy consoles and trunk boxes. While the lock picking lawyer can defeat these easily your average car prowler will shrug and move on.

It’s illegal to bring your gun into a lot of places. So a lot of people who carry regularly have to leave their guns in their car.

As a responsible gun owner I choose to carry as God and The 2nd Amendment require. Also, I choose to leave my penis gun in my car where any 14 year old can easily retrieve it for their very likely responsible gun carrying choices.
