I want to see this sort of feature in modern cars (not that I want the additional failure point on one of mine, just want to see it), and I feel like all the unnecessary doohickeys being put into electric vehicles make them a prime candidate for this sort of engineering that includes additional failure points.

I just wish we got more measurements. I’d like to know square footage of the cargo floor, the capacity with a clear sightline, and the capacity fully loaded up. Throughout the industry.

The clothing isn’t as bad as the HD edition Ford F150. For when you need your pickup to rep your favorite lifestyle brand that also sells motorcycles.

This may not qualify, but the Harley Davidson F150 is the most egregious example I can think of for automotive merchandise. Buying an overpriced Ford pickup with HD logos all over it just to show off how invested you are in the Harley lifestyle just screams unnecessary branding to me.

And this is no dig on you or the Prius. I like the Prius. I know it is probably one of the better deals you would find right now on one. I just hate the current used car market.

That is awesome! Glad it came to fruition!

12k for a 12 year old Prius and “the right headlight is full of water, one of the car’s 12V ports doesn’t work and the radio basically stops working whenever you hit the rear defroster. Also, the steering wheel is already falling apart.”

Is the car filled with drugs? Because this is either a drug sale disguised as a car sale or the buyer is going to have to be high as a kite to agree to that price.

I am disappointed that Torch mentioned a wizard school and not a visitor from Betelgeuse.

I want to take a Miata or the Mazda, because I am unlikely to buy those but would enjoy them. But the S10, Ranger, F150, and Transit Connect are all more useful, so I would probably choose one of them.

This appears to be someone looking to get back what has been invested. While it is a nice build, I’m not willing to pay that kind of money for something (nicely) hacked together.

Do you want it fixed right, or do you want it fixed in a blogworthy way? Besides, your fix idea really doesn’t fit with the Changli barely pieced together aesthetic.

While I am not gonna head to Seattle to pick this up, I will admit it is a good price for whoever gets excited about a stock Monza. Just not sure who that is.

Cadi-Shaq? Maybe on a golf course plagued by rodents.

If they would go ahead and give me a release date and price for the PHEV version, I would strongly consider buying one of these. Really looking at the Tucson PHEV, but I prefer the Sportage design cues, I think.

The lit parts are daytime running lights. The larger headlights should illuminate just fine.

No dice. These were terrible penalty boxes then and time has not changed that. Even the current bid is far too high for my taste.

No, the point was for it to be more profitable for the shareholders. Convenience and profits are the pitch to drivers, not the reality.

Limiting the data that is collected also reduces risks associated with data release. Creating data safeguards that allow protection AND allow the end user to access their data and share it with repair shops also helps.

When some home mechanic starts stalking someone, it will open the question of why the vehicle is reporting that information to the manufacturer in the first place and whether one can choose which data their vehicle reports. If it is perhaps for purposes of a vehicle location app, can the user decide to turn that on or
