I live in Sao Paulo Brazil. Excellent internet with perfect xcloud streaming costs me about 40USD a month. My phone plan is 30USD a month for 60GB of 5G. An Xbox series S is 600 USD. Different parts of the world have different economies and infrastructure, and pure xcloud makes much more sense in some parts than

Nah, the correct conclusion is “stop using fewer it sounds pompous, use less for everything”

I noticed this too, but the idioms are the contradictions. “One less thing to worry about” is speaking of a purely countable thing because you cannot have 1.3 things to worry about. And “20 items of less” is also an idiom at this point.

From a "what does it feel like to play" perspective, those are three very different sports. So I'm fine with it.

I do this now with my son but the big thing for me a family plan offers is xcloud access for both accounts. I only have one computer powerful enough for the big games, so xcloud access for my son and wife would be nice. If the price is reasonable it's worth it.

That backbone writeup will potentially be very confusing to Android readers, since it only supports Android using a cable, essentially eliminating its usefulness (since a dualsense or Xbox controller can do the same cheaper).

Dadish 2 is my GOTY (and Dadish 1 is just as good, it’s just not from 2021). I think it’s probably better on switch / steam / mobile (with a controller) for most people, tbh, but if an Xbox is what you have - you should play it!

1) More coverage of mobile games is great thank you! The games press really needs to do it more.

The solution is to scale refunds by price not time. 4 minutes per dollar, 10 minute minimum, 2 hour maximum. 90 minute game priced at 8 dollars, you get 32 minutes to decide.

I don’t invert now because I took a decade long break from gaming and retrained myself on return, but in high school TIE Fighter informed my gaming so much that not only did I invert everyhing, I actually played FPSes (Jedi Knight specifically) using a flight stick.

Did you try celeste? Because it kinda does the same thing. The main content is hard, sure, but I am a totally average platformer and beat it in maybe 14 hours? I died several thousand times but you never lose more than 20 seconds of progress. And if you want to make it harder you get the strawberries and the b sides

It was the ps4/xb1 version that caused the delay, at least according to their own statement.

The stick is raised, I don’t need to press down into the controller to use it (except for L3 i guess but even that is way less deep a press), so the angle of attack on a thumb stick is way less intense than that of a d pad. And the close-to-parallel positioning of the ds4 handles means I can easily just move my left

This is wonderful. Dragon Age is not my fandom, but i have been part of a community of kind, loving Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans for 20 years now; my fanfic days are long last but it always warms my heart to read stories of other people who have been well served by the wonderful and supportive communities that build

I mean, or they just spoke it that they won that part of the fight. If this is the only outcome of the whole thing I’m still glad Epic did the suit.

I’m sure most games will use it way less. This is a tech demo so it’s intended to be jam-packed. I expect that God of War or whatever will use it more judiciously. And cross platform games (most games) probably won’t use it at all, sadly.

Play those two on ps4 and switch to xbox for next gen. That's probably my long term plan (u won't be next genning for years)

I love and respect them AND am somewhat freaked out by them (in life not games, I don’t need this slider.

If I’m playing a game where the difficulty levels are well thought out, I will play on a harder difficulty. Probably not hardest, because I’m not that gud, but harder.

Thr 8BitDo SN30± Pro or whatever it’s called should definitely be in here. It is customizable using software, has parallel joysticks for those that prefer them to offset (we exist), and has good build quality and construction. It should be on here.
