I was so stoked for her goal. The penalty was absolutely the right call, but a team this good deserved to win with a goal in the run of play rather than a defender making a mistake that didn’t even deny a scoring chance. The perfect cap to the tournament.

I hope she gets traded to Portland so that every Thorn has its Rose.

Here’s the actual rule:

She is straight up awesome. I cannot fathom how someone 5'4" can run that fast but she is blindingly fast. That speed erases a lot of mistakes that others make to the point that you don’t even realize there were mistakes made.

No one is saying it was his intent. Everyone’s saying it’s wrong and he should be suspended and he should.

“3. Why do you think runners should be required to take extra steps to make up for a poor throw by the fielding team. Why punish the person who didn’t make the mistake?”

“Do this and you won’t be called out.”

I would read the horizontal body position as specifically contrary to the rule:

I don’t think the contact was intentional, but you don’t ever, ever go inside unless the throw has pulled the catcher completely to the back side of the plate. The runner is given the lane to the outside. The catcher’s only reasonable place to set up (post Posey rule) is on the inside. The throw, obviously, is coming

They do. He didn’t.

I’ll just let Yadier Molina’s reaction to this abomination of a play speak for itself...

Twas a bad day to be orange.

Those of us over 30 all saw Terminator 2.

Suicide. Is there a shortcut this guy won’t take?

I suspect that one reason they cast a black Ariel is because they realized that the vaguely Caribbean feel to the ocean world (and the vaguely Calypso beats to some of the songs) would seem less problematic if they had black people as the ruling cast of this aquatic Caribbean undersea nation.

White people, just go out and buy a Klan outfit instead of complaining about “political correctness”. The euphemism has become completely transparent and meaningless.

I thought the whole reason she is the resident contrarian on that show is because she isn’t smart enough to have her own well-researched opinions. So she makes a career contradicting everything she can to distract from her lack of intelligence.

Amash was an original Tea Party goon and spent 70% of his oped bothsidering.  Anyone who read his oped is now stupider.  I award no points and may god have mercy on his soul.

If it’s purely a taste test, then boiling the franks would heat them up in a consistent manner. It’d be a little bit harder to get an accurate test done with varying levels of char on each frank.
