I like the guys trying to explain it to the ref. “He kicked him in the face, yes, but he’s not dead?”

It’s not intentional (in that he wasn’t going for the dude’s face), but it IS an incredibly stupid and reckless play and the ref was right to send him off.
I doubt it was intentional but it definitely warranted a red card.
Agreed, totally not intentional but the rules around a high boot are intended to prevent reckless plays - which this certainly was - and the red card was absolutely warranted.
I think that this is a fine thing to do when you’re paying cash.
They’re the first mid-major team to make the Final Four since Wichita State in 2013.
“a paraplegic security guard” - I don’t know how to say this without being a dick, but, uhhh, odd choice for a security guard.
Krzyzewski, like every other men’s basketball coach and athletic director in Division I, is the NCAA.
How many white guys do you know named Vivek? He’s Indian.
I have no idea how quickly the high beams turn on or off.
I get so used to my Kings fucking everything up, I don’t know how to feel when they do something right, especially something like this. Something I really, really want them to get right. I keep on waiting for this fairly sensitive, empathetic moment to be followed by a press release stating that they intended to trade…
I feel like this is a good sentiment but you give terrible examples.
Perhaps, a human would hit the pedestrian. Perhaps a human would turn a bit to avoid. I do not know I am just looking at the white lines and least amount of legal headlight.
Not one person here, including you - would have missed that lady walking in front of you with no reflectors in a black sweatshirt across 3 lanes of traffic in the middle of the night.
Every single person in this thread would have hit her, with their car. No rational person in the world would think, “If someone sees me…
Ok, so the based on the video, it looks like the headlights didn’t illuminate her until about 3 nanoseconds before the time of impact. No chance any human could have brakes/swerved in time.
...How? She’s basically invisible until she’s within 20ft of a car on a 45MPH road. There’s no way in hell it’s stopping in time, and I’m not sure if it’s able to “panic swerve” around her in time.
My favorite part is that Primetime didn’t even bother to look at the actual list of All-Pro safeties jsut to, like, figure out what the “random fan” was talking about.
Obviously Twitter is another thing Deion couldn’t tackle…
If a child was trying to cross a highway at 10pm on a Monday? Let’s put it this way, the parent would certainly be thrown in jail, right?
A pedestrian is killed in NY every 3-4 days on average, but about 56 are hit and injured every day. Maybe not all jaywalkers get hit, but it happens.
