that was some terrific casting.  too bad that the script didn’t live up to the actors.

Fuck that piece of shit monkey.

I still prefer Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, and Sam Elliot in their respective roles, but yeah, the movie was in general, a disappointment.

They are kids books in that they feature children as primary protagonists. The subject matter is pretty adult (philosophically speaking).

No one tops Summer Glau and no I ain’t going there.

To each their own, indeed. 😉

Reading many of these comments, it’s like this is the first movie you’ve ever seen promotion for, haha. Here’s how it works, folks:

I hate the trend of playing a (usually ironic) song over the entire trailer. The song was distracting and muted the high-intensity vibe of the trailer.

This looks promising. I’m all in for a female-driven movie, I loved the “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” dance number and Robbie looks like she’s having a blast. The

Came for Robbie and McGregor, staying for the shenanigans. Looks fun.

Actually, I would love to see Ep. 9 end with the birth of a new Skywalker. (You want *somebody* left to carry on the Skywalker name, don’t you?)

Yeah, I keep coming back to the same question: what relationship? They’ve known each other for, at most, two weeks.

Ugh. Why. the whole Reylo ship baffles me. I survived two nasty abusive relationships and both of them look exactly like the dynamic Rey and Kylo have. I think about them romantically and break out in hives - if they end up in a romantic relationship, I will legitimately walk out of the theater. Fuck’s sake.

I love that we’re all Good Place swearing now.

Maybe the title is literal...

She needs to just forking kill him already.

tbh it baffles me that the dominant dominant sequel-trilogy conversation is about about whether or not Rey will kiss the guy who tortured her and called her nothing, or if that same guy (who, the last we saw, had just murdered his way into the top spot of a genocidal dictatorship) will decide to be a “good guy,” after

Agreed. I always wanted an adaptation that was set in the 1890s when it was written instead of the previous adaptations that were set in their own contemporary times.

Before I saw the headline I was hoping it was going to be a fresh adaptation of The Tripods by John Christopher
