That’s also how I try the sport!

She would be great for the role! I never imagined the Fremen as any particular ethnicity, again, it’s 25,000 years in the future so...tan?

THANK YOU.

You would need omni-oculars to actually enjoy watching it in person, but professional quidditch has to be one of the most amazing sports ever. Even high schoolers are expected to play with brutal injuries in all weather conditions at incredible speeds with two roaming attack spheres. Love it.

I could never figure out the rules, like, was it 3v3 touch football-meets-twister of some sort? But it always looked cool. Like a half-court version of a full game we never got to see.

I loved Johns’ Shazam! it was my first introduction to Captain Marvel, uh, Shazam, and one of the best comics to come out of the Nu52. I have high hopes for this movie!

I don’t know. Like all creators, some of his ideas are better than others. I loved his re-imagining of Captain Marvel. The idea of a “found family” is perfect for Shazam.

I’m really excited for this show, but this was what I was most worried about—like Young Justice: Invasion, the show throws in a bunch of new characters with just barely enough time to get used to most of them. Invasion already has a sprawling cast, while I wanted more on the original Team. I’m not saying Outsiders is

Yikes, this sounds awful. I would be predisposed not to watch based on the core concept, but the execution seems lacking as well.

I loved all the Bond flicks as a kid. Some are better than others as an adult...

No, although, I guess I understand where you’re coming from. I really tried to like Discovery, and my relative dislike of the show has very little to do with TNG. I didn’t grow up with TNG and, frankly, thought it...just okay when I watched it on Netflix, with a few standout episodes that deserve critical acclaim.

OH MY GOD, please tell me Burnham will hold Spock down while someone shaves his horrible facial worms i.e. beard.

I’d be interested in jumping back in for season two. They have dumped a lot of the elements that made ST:D frustrating to watch, including the bizarre convolutions required to justify Burnham’s status on the ship and the “mycelial network” (blurgh). That said, I hope it doesn’t become ST:TOS Lite. I don’t really need

I just might have to see the next one in IMAX.

Absolutely. The fact that Cruise is incredibly committed to doing his own stunts really allows the filmmakers to present incrcible action set pieces without a flurry of cuts to undermine the edge-your-seat excitement! It will be a shame when he finally (!?) ages out of the role.

So, a good version of Moonraker?

Mr. Whitbrook,

Man, how are these movies so ridiculously good? I saw MI: Fallout in theaters, the first in the franchise I ever saw on the big screen, and it’s just fantastic action adventure with just the right level of camp and self-aware good humour.

Pike’s uniform just makes it even more clear that the DISCO crew need to get rid of the weird silver splotches on their uniforms. Pike looks clean, dapper, and Trek-y. Poor Michael looks like she’s from Mass Effect 1.

Man, I stop buying comics for a year because I lose your job, I come back and read about 2019, and I am a little alarmed, a little confused, and a little excited.
