I laughed out loud at the dick string jokes. Between that and Beards possible foray into pegging, I worked out my humour brow is pretty low.

Watching this from the UK, I was wondering how Sam’s plot would track; this is something that might not make it overseas, but currently there’s a huge immigration war going on with the UK Conservative goverment, because like the US, they have very little else left to put forward as their big campaigning tactic for the

100% better than the review.

I’m American, but I lived/worked in the Netherlands for a few months. It’s not a perfect country (as my Dutch friends are quick to point out, but to borrow your words, I always found it a “quiet and warm” place. There is something just so lovely about it and I don’t know if I’d ever have the courage to make it my home

Meanwhile there was a vase of tulips right behind him the whole time...

One other callout: Ted Lasso’s epiphany is brought about by a barbecue sauce that, Google informs me, is the signature sauce of a famous Kansas City barbecue chef (geographic tie for both Ted Lasso and Jason Sudeikis). Also, remember when he said “barbecue sauce” before he sinks the final dart shot in Season 1's match

Can you do the writeups for this show going forward

I interpreted it as “oh yes we fell in love” and yeah, in absolutely NO way read it as creepy. As you mentioned, they went out of their way to show him covering her up when she had fallen asleep, etc; the guy gave me some weird vibes but by the end I don’t think they were going for anything other than exactly what was

I think it’s all about making new connections - covering up the tracks with fresh snow as Beard put it. Rebecca literally fell head over heels to meet that flying Dutchman (he said he was military and had flight memorabilia all over the boat), Rebecca needed to make a new connection with someone to wipe Rupert’s

Hot tea, vanilla vodka, one tulipe, windmills, bike rides, memories, granddads, letting your hair down, a good conversation, appreciating what you do, appreciating where you are, getting closer, kissing freely, Van Gogh, Chet Baker, Piggy Stardust... I like that Ted Lasso has its own rythme. This episode was quiet and

I rarely comment on stuff but have to agree with the others. This is an excellent comment

This tender moment which, I’ll admit, I groaned at given the way Colin (in true “LGBTQ Representation Matters!” way) manages to ground his sexual identity in a romantically codified stricture—all he wants is a fella he can kiss like the guys do their gals!”

I obviously enjoy the last two seasons of this show way more than the folks at AV Club. Nothing wrong with that, but it means I don’t usually agree with the reviews.

Did anyone else notice that Ted actually wrote “TRY ANGELS!” on the last line?

She was asking if they had sex, his “Yes we did” was that they fell in love.

I know it’s called Total Football, I’m sure if I was talking with my friends about it in my relatively rural area I would recognize it as Total Football. However, after this episode, when it’s shown in the episode it’s probably going to stick in my brain as the triangle offense. Thanks, Tex and Phil.

This was definitely an episode that either one went along for the ride or fought it most of the way. I see Manuel is holding court in the latter. But I was all in. First breaking up the group so one had these mini-adventures was a blast. Roy & Jaimie, sure Roy learning to bike was an amusing part of it, but the

Yet we still don’t know who voted to see tulips.

Giving very short shrift to Jamie here. He had a great role in his storyline - opening up to Roy and deepening the show’s most rewarding friendship, revealing hidden depths and intelligence again, all while still showing flashes of that charming bravado.
